AUDIENCE- Ms. Murchie and anyone interested in hiking the pct in the future. Anyone wanting to further their knowledge on the pct, view different opinions and gain access to links to other reliable sources. 
PURPOSE- The purpose is to provide my opinion as well as others on what you should know before hiking the pct.
SITUATION- I love an adventure and have been interested in hiking the pct for some time. I want other people to also see how cool and fun doing a hike like this could be, and maybe, like I did, they will become interested in hiking too!

What did you research and why?
I researched details on hiking the Pacific Crest Trail; things such as hygiene, food, and gear. I've always loved an adventure and still do. I've hiked easy hikes up north that has beautiful views and recently I had the opportunity to go to Alaska with my family where I completed some hikes of higher difficulty. I want to hopefully complete this challenge when I finish my four years of college before I head off to start a new life.

What did you create and why?
I created a blog to provide information on the pct in a casual way. I wanted to incorporate my opinion as well as others and the best way to obtain that was by creating a blog where I discuss the three things I focused my research on.
